Active Sound
Active Sound er eit sund i Antarktis som i snitt er 3 km breitt. Det strekkjer seg aust-nordaust frå Antarctic Sound til Firth of Tay der det skil Joinville og Dundee Island. Neset vart oppdaga i 1892–93 av kaptein Thomas Robertson under Dundee kvalfangsekspedisjon. Robertson kalla sundet opp etter skipet sitt, «Active», som var det første fartøyet som segla gjennom sundet.
