Bedford Island
Bedford Island er ei øy kring 1 nautiske mil lang og som ligg ved sørenden av Barcroft Islands i Biscoe Islands. Ho vart kartlagd frå flyfoto teken av Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1956–57), og vart namngjeven av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee etter Thomas Bedford, ein engelsk fysikar som spesialiserte seg på målingar av det fysiske miljøet menneske lever i.[1]
