Ewing Island
Ewing Island er ei isdekt, kuppelforma øy som ligg 28 km nordaust for Cape Collier, utanfor austkysten av Palmer Land. Ho vart oppdaga frå lufta 7. november 1947 av Ronne antarktiske forskingsekspedisjon (RARE), under Finn Rønne, som namngav ho etter dr. Maurice Ewing frå Columbia University, som assisterte i planlegginga av seismologiprogrammet RARE.[1]
