Gorgon Pool
Gorgon Pool er ein innsjø, er kanskje heller ein lagune, mellom Chimaera Flats og Kraken Cove på Candlemas Island i Sør-Sandwichøyane. Han vart namngjeven av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee i samband med nærliggande Medusa Pool. Gorgon er eit fabeldyr i Homer sin Iliaden, knytt til anna mytologi med Medusa.[1]
