Charles Doolittle Walcott

Charles Doolittle Walcott (31. mars 1850–9. februar 1927) var ein paleontolog frå New York, USA. Han vart kjend for oppdaginga av velbevart fossil i Burgess Shale i British Columbia i Canada i 1909.

Frå 1894 til 1907 var han direktør for U.S. Geological Survey og frå 1907 leiar for Smithsonian Institution. I 1911 vart Walcott æresdoktor ved Universitetet i Oslo.
