Chris Lord-Alge
Chris Lord-Alge er ein amerikansk lydteknikar og plateprodusent. Han er bror til Tom Lord-Alge, ein annan lydteknikar. Chris Lord-Alge er kjend for bruken av dynamisk rekkjevidd-kompresjon med både maskinvare og programvare.[1] Han er òg kjend for samarbeidet med Howard Benson, som har produsert mange av albuma som Lord-Alge har miksa.
Chris Lord-Alge vart kjend då han arbeidde ved Unique Recording Studios i New York City i 1980-åra og miksa James Brown-albumet Gravity med hitten «Living in America», Rocky IV-musikken, Prince-musikken til Batman soundtrack, Joe Cocker-albumet Unchain My Heart, Chaka Khan sitt Destiny, Carly Simon sitt Coming Around Again, Tina Turner sitt Foreign Affair og 12"-miksar av Madonna sin «La Isla Bonita», Rolling Stones sin «Too Much Blood» og Bruce Springsteen sine «Dancing in the Dark», «Cover Me» og «Born in the U.S.A.».
