Driscoll Island
Driscoll Island er ei smal, isdekt øy som ligg i Block Bay langs kysten av Marie Byrd Land. Øya vart delvis skissert frå flyfoto teken under Byrd-ekspedisjonen (1928–30) under ein flytur 5. desember 1929. Øya vart fullstendig kartlagd av US Geological Survey, 1959–65, og vart namngjeven av Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names etter Lawrence J. Driscoll i US Navy, matros ombord på USS «Glacier» langs denne kysten 1961–62.[1]
