The Flaming Lips
The Flaming Lips er eit alternativt rockeband frå USA. Bandet blei starta i Oklahoma City i 1983 og har gitt ut elleve album. I 1995 fekk dei sin til no einaste slager, med songen «She Don't Use Jelly», medan albuma The Soft Bulletin frå 1999 og Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots frå 2002 har gitt bandet mykje bra kritikk og gode salstal.

I 1997 gav dei ut albumet Zaireeka, som hadde fire cd-ar. Meininga var at ein skulle spele dei fire cd-ane på fire separate cd-spelarar samtidig.
I 2005 gjorde dei eit cover av songen «Bohemian Rhapsody» av Queen til albumet Killer Queen: A Tribute to Queen.
