Robin Lane Fox

Robin James Lane Fox (fødd 5. oktober 1946) er ein engelsk historikar og hageskribent. Perioden hans er antikken og oldtida, og han er kjend for verka sine om Aleksander den store. Lane Fox er Emeritus Fellow ved New College i Oxford og Reader i oldtidshistorie ved University of Oxford. Han var Fellow og Tutor i oldtidshistorie ved New College frå 1977 til 2014, og er Garden Master og Extraordinary Lecturer in Ancient History ved både New College og Exeter College. Han har også undervist i gresk og latinsk litteratur og tidleg islamsk historie. Han er Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
