China Miéville

China Miéville (fødd 6. september 1972 i Norwich i England)[1] er ein engelsk forfattar som er mest kjend for sine fantasyromanar, men som også har publisert akademisk sakprosa. Han har motteke Arthur C. Clarke Award og British Fantasy Award for Perdido Street Station, British Fantasy Award igjen for The Scar og Arthur C. Clarke Award igjen for Iron Council.[2] Han fekk publisert den første novella si i Young Words i 1986 etter å blitt ein av tre vinnarar i bladet sin årlege konkurranse.[3]
