Meaning of "Tamagotchi"

I'm sorry for not writing in Nynorsk (I'm Swedish). I just wanted to correct the information about the meaning of the name "Tamagotchi", but my edits were reverted since the source was in a foreign language. I realise that a Japanese source is not readable by most people, but at least it is a source, while the current information on the page lacks source. Even if you do not know Japanese you can have a look at the Tamagotchi article at Japanese Wikipedia, where you will clearly see the words "tamago" and "watch". You can also have a look at English Wikipedia, although they use the same Japanese source there. I thought of adding a link to a Google Translated version of Bandai's page, but the translation is terrible: «"Tamagotchi", named the "egg" and "watch (meaning that the clock)"». Hopefully you will accept this explanation and just trust me that the information is correct.
