Edward O. Wilson

Edward Osborne Wilson (10. juni 1929–26. desember 2021) var ein USA-amerikansk biolog oppvaksen i Alabama og Washington D.C., som hovudsakleg er kjend som grunnleggjar av sosiobiologien. Han har òg vore særs viktig i forskinga på maur, i tillegg til å vera ein ivrig talsmann for bevaring av det biologiske mangfaldet.
