Darwin Island
Darwin Island er den største av Danger Islands, som ligg 11 nautiske mil aust-søraust for austenden av Joinville Island, utanfor nordaustenden av Den antarktiske halvøya. Ho vart oppdaga i 1842 av ein britisk ekspedisjon under James Clark Ross, og vart namngjeven av han etter naturalisten Charles Darwin.[1]
