Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Roșia se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în șef. Sus, în câmp roșu, se află o cruce latină de aur. Jos în câmp de aur se află un cerc albastru, în interiorul său cu o turlă de biserică de aur, iar de o parte și de alta cinci dăngi negre de însemnat vite.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate:

Roșu face referire la numele localității, Roșia – astfel că stema este o „stemă vorbitoare”. Crucea latină simbolizează credința locuitorilor.

Cercul cu turla de biserică trimite la cele două biserici Evangelice-Luterane fortificate din Roșia și din Daia, amândouă fiind monumente istorice.

Dăngile de însemnat vite sunt poziționate în concordanță cu așezarea geografică a satelor aparținătoare ale comunei, de la dreapta la stânga: Roșia, Nou, Daia, Cașolț și Cornățel.

Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
