Mount Hawkes
Mount Hawkes er eit fjell på 1975 moh langs Washington Escarpment, som står ved austsida av Jones Valley i Neptune Range i Pensacolafjella i Antarktis. Det vart oppdaga og fotografert den 13. januar 1956 under U.S. Navy sin transkontinentale flytur under Operasjon Deep Freeze I frå McMurdo Sound til Weddellhavet og attende. Det vart namngjeve av Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names etter offiser William M. Hawkes sin var andrepilot på flyturen.[1] Hawkes Heights er òg kalla opp etter Hawkes.
