Forge Islands
Forge Islands er ei gruppe småøyar som ligg nordaust for The Barchans og 0,5 nautiske mil nordvest for Grotto Island i Argentine Islands i Wilhelm Archipelago. Dei vart kartlagde og namngjevne «Horseshoe Islands» av British Graham Land Expedition under Rymill, 1934–37. Namnet vart endra av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee i 1959 for å unngå forveksling med Horseshoe Island i Marguerite Bay. Dette nye namnet vart gjeve i samband med det gamle namnet (forge tyder å smi på engelsk og den nærliggande Anvil Rock (amboltklippa).[1]
