Jim Carroll
amerikansk poet og songar
James Dennis Carroll (1. august 1949–11. september 2009)[1] var ein USA-amerikansk forfattar, diktar, sjølvbiografiforfattar og punkemusikar. Carroll var mest kjend for sjølvbiografien The Basketball Diaries frå 1978, som inspirerte til filmen med same namn med Leonardo DiCaprio som Carroll i 1995. Han er òg kjend for songen «People Who Died» frå 1980 av The Jim Carroll Band.
