Joaquin Miller
Joaquin Miller (8. september 1837–17. februar 1913, eigentleg Cincinnatus Heine Miller) var ein amerikansk forfattar og poet.

Miller var fødd i Liberty i Indiana. Då han var 16 år gammal flytta han til California, der han hadde mange eventyr. I 1860 blei han tilsett ved eit advokatkontor i Oregon, og i 1866 blei han dommar og seinare verksam i aviser ulike stader. I 1871 gav han ut diktsamlinga Songs of the Sierras. Seinare følgde Pacific poems (same år), Songs of the sunlands (1873), Songs of far away lands (1878) og Songs of Italy (same år). Innan prosa skreiv Miller mellom anna Life among the modocs: unwritten history (1873), romanane The one fair woman (1876) og The Danites of the Sierras (1881) med meir. Dei samla verka hans blei gjevne ut i 1902 .
