Mickle Island
Mickle Island er ei særs lita øy 1 nautisk mil (1,9 km) søraust for Flagstaff Point, like utanfor vestsida av Ross Island. Ho vart kartlagd og fekk dette namnet av den britiske antarktiskekspedisjonen leia av Shackleton, 1907-09. Namnet verkar å vere ironsik meint sidan mickle tyder «stor».
