Big Bang Theory er det femtande studioalbumet til rockegruppa Styx, gjeve ut i 2005. Det består utelukkande coverversjonar av klassiske rockesongar.

I 2004 spelte Styx ein versjon av The Beatles-songen «I Am the Walrus» på Crossroads-festivalen til Eric Clapton, der songen fekk så god mottaking at han vart gjeven ut på singel og nådde topp 10 på Mediabase Classic Rock-lista.[4] Videoen hadde med den originale bassisten Chuck Panozzo som «eggman». Suksessen til singelen førte til at bandet spelte inn eit heilt album med coversongar. Albumet nådde 46. plassen på Billboard Top 200 i USA, som var den høgaste plasseringa til Styx på 14 år.
