Bird Sound
Bird Sound er eit farleg, men farbart sund mellom Birdøya og vestenden av Sør-Georgia. Det er 1 nautisk mil langt og 0,5 nautiske mil breitt. Namna «La Roche Strait» og «Bird Sound» vart nytta om dette sundet på forskjellige kart i mange år. Bird Sound har fått namn etter Birdøya og er godkjend basert på lokal bruk.[1]
