Florence Nunatak
Florence Nunatak er eit kjenneleg nunatak, 280 moh, nesten 2 nautiske mil aust for toppen av Potter Cove sørvest på King George Island i Sør-Shetlandsøyane. Det vart namngjeve av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee i 1960 etter selskuta som vitja Sør-Shetlandsøyane i 1876–77 i løpet av nyoppstarten av den sørlege pelsfangst til USA. Some av mannskapet på «Florence» overvintra ved Potter Cove i løpet av 1877. Berre ein av dei overlevde.[1]
