Benedict Point
Benedict Point er eit nes kring 5 nautiske mil sør for Cape Leblond på austsida av Lavoisier Island i Biscoe Islands. Det vart kartlagd frå flyfoto teken av Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1956–57), og vart namngjeve av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee etter Francis G. Benedict, ein amerikanske fysiolog som i lag med W.O. Atwater perfeksjonerte teknikken for kalorimetriske målingar av stoffskifte.[1]
