Bowyer Butte
Bowyer Butte er ei bratt høgd med nesten flat topp, 3 nautiske mil brei og 1085 moh, mellom den lågare enden av Johnsonbreen og Venzkebreen på kysten av Marie Byrd Land. Det vart oppdaga og fotografert frå lufta av U.S. Antarctic Service, 1939–41, og vart namngjeven av Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names etter Donald W. Bowyer, ein meteorolog i US Antarctic Research Program ved Byrd-stasjonen, 1962.[1]
