Hippo Island
Hippo Island er ei bratt, klipperik øy, som stigg opp av Shackleton isbrem i Antarktis 1,5 nautiske mil nord for Delay Point. Ho vart oppdaga av den vestlege arbeidsgruppa i Den australasiatiske antarktisekspedisjonen under Mawson, 1911–14, som namngav ho etter den flodhest-liknande forma.[1]
