Jeff Clyne
Jeffrey Ovid Clyne (29. januar 1937–16. november 2009) var ein britisk jazz-bassist som spelte både bassgitar og kontrabass.

Biografi
endreHan arbeidde med Tubby Hayes og Ronnie Scott i gruppa deira Jazz Couriers i eitt år frå 1958 og var ein del av gruppa av musikarar som opna Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club i november 1959.[1] Han var fast medlem av gruppa til Hayes frå 1961.
Clyne akkompagnerte Blossom Dearie, Stan Tracey (på hans Jazz Suite Inspired by Dylan Thomas's «Under Milk Wood»), Ian Carr, Gordon Beck (på Experiments With Pops, med John McLaughlin), Dudley Moore, Zoot Sims, Norma Winstone, John Burch og Marion Montgomery. Han var medlem av Nucleus, Isotope, Gilgamesh, Giles Farnaby's Dream Band og Turning Point i 1970-åra. Han arbeidde ofte med trommeslagaren Trevor Tomkins.
Clyne døydde 16. november 2009 av eit hjarteinfarkt.[2]
