Syrisk kristendom
Syrisk kristendom er ei retning innan kristendommen som følgjer kristne tradisjonar frå Syria. Mange av dei bruker gammalsyrisk, ein variant av arameisk, som liturgispråk.[1][2][3]
Den syriske kristendommen er hovudsakleg utbreidd i Midtausten og i den indiske delstaten Kerala. Syrisk kristendom er rekna som ein del av austleg kristendom, og er delt inn i to hovudgrupper:[4] Ei vestleg som følgjer antiokensk ritus og ei austleg som følgjer kaldeisk ritus.[5]
