«All Tomorrow's Parties» er ein song av The Velvet Underground, skriven av Lou Reed og gjeven ut på debutalbumet til gruppa i 1967, The Velvet Underground & Nico.

I følgje Reed kom inspirasjonen til songen frå då Reed observerte Andy Warhol-klikken og han skildra forskjellige folk ved the Factory på denne tida. «Eg såg Andy. Eg såg Andy observere alle andre. Eg kunne høyre folk sei dei mest fantastiske ting, dei sprøaste ting, dei morosamaste ting, dei tristaste ting».[1] Songen vart favoritten til Andy Warhol av The Velvet Underground.[2]

Ei forkorta utgåve av songen vart gjeven ut som singel i juli 1966 med «I'll Be Your Mirror» som b-side. Songen er om lag halvparten så lang som albumversjonen. Songen nådde ikkje singellista.

Innspeling endre

Songen vart spelt inn i Scepter Studios i New York i april 1966. Han har eit pianomotiv spelt av John Cale, hovudsakleg basert på tonegrupper. Det var ein av dei første popsongane som nytta handsama piano.[3]

Nico syng solovokal.

Både Nico og Lou Reed har spelt inn soloversjonar av songen.
