Larry Coryell (2. april 1943 som Lorenz Albert Van DeLinder III–19. februar 2017) var ein USA-amerikansk jazzgitarist.

I september 1964 flytta Coryell til New York City, der han gjekk på Mannes School of Music.[1]
Han erstatta gitaristen Gábor Szabó i kvintetten til Chico Hamilton. I midten av 1960-åra spelte han med The Free Spirits,[2] som var det første bandet han var i studio med. I 1967–68 spelte han med Gary Burton. Musikken hans seint i 1960-åra og inn i 1970-åra kombinerte rock, jazz, og austleg musikk.
I 1970-åra leia han gruppa Foreplay med Mike Mandel, ein barndomsven,[3] men albuma frå denne perioden, Barefoot Boy, Offering og The Real Great Escape, var berre oppførte under Larry Coryell. Han skipa The Eleventh House i 1973. Trommeslagaren Alphonse Mouzon spelte i fleire av gruppene hans.

Gruppa spelte inn eit videoalum frå Royal Albert Hall i London kalla Meeting of Spirits. Tidleg i 1980 vart han erstatta av Al Di Meola på grunn av dopmisbruket sitt.[4] Han spelte inn Together i lag med gitaristen Emily Remler, som døydde i 1990. Frå og med 2010 har Coryell turnert og spelt med ein trio som inkluderte pianisten John Colianni, og bassistane Daryl Johns og Jim Cammack.
Coryell døydde av hjartesvikt 19. februar 2017 på eit hotellrom i New York City, 73 år gammal.[5][6]
