The Creatures
The Creatures var eit engelsk band skipa i 1981 av vokalisten Siouxsie Sioux og trommeslagaren Budgie, begge frå gruppa Siouxsie and the Banshees. The Creatures gav ut den første EP-en sin, Wild Things, i 1981. Dei spelte inn fire studioalbum: Feast i 1983, Boomerang i 1989, Anima Animus i 1999 og Hái! i 2003.

Med Feast spelte bandet mellom anna exotica.[1] På Boomerang la dei til ein spanskklingande stil til musikken sin med element av flamenco, blues og jazz..[2] Seint i 1990-åra utvikla dei ein meir urban stil. The Times skildra då musikken deira som «eventyrleg kunstrock bygd rundt den uvanlege røysta til Siouxie og perkusjonsbatteriet til Budgie».[3] På den siste plata si gjekk dei attende til røtene og gjekk austover, med ein ode til japansk minimalisme. Bandet vart oppløyst i 2005.
Musikken deira har blitt hylla av Jeff Buckley[4] og PJ Harvey.[5]
