Europe '72 er eit tredobbelt konsertalbum av Grateful Dead, gjeve ut i november 1972. Det dekkjer turneen til bandet i Vest-Europa i april og mai det året og består av konsertfavorittar, lange improvisasjonar o fleire nye songar, som «Jack Straw» og «Brown Eyed Women». Albumet var det første med pianisten Keith Godchaux og kona Donna Jean Godchaux, og det siste med det opphavlege medlemmet Ron «Pigpen» McKernan, som døydde kort tid etter albumet kom ut. Fleire av songane der han song solo vart ikkje spelte meir av bandet etter dette.[5]

Den europeiske turneen var dyr og logistisk komplisert, og plateselskapet til bandet håpte at eit konsertalbum ville dekkje inn kostnadane. Heile turneen vart derfor fanga på lydband og høgdepunkta kom ut på dette albumet. Europe '72 var eit av dei bestseljande albuma til Grateful Dead. Det var det første tredoble rockealbumet som selde til gullplate i USA og har med tida selt til dobbel platinaplate. Eit andre volum kom ut i 2011 i samband med utgjevinga av alle dei 22 konsertane på turneen som Europe '72: The Complete Recordings.

Europe '72 nådde 24. plassen på Billboard-lista.[6]

Ei redigert utgåve av «Sugar Magnolia» frå albumet kom ut på singel i lag med «Mr. Charlie» som B-side.
