Snooky Young
Eugene Edward «Snooky» Young (3. februar 1919–11. mai 2011)[2] var ein USA-amerikansk jazztrompetist. Han var kjend for å meistre sordin, og kunne skape ei lang rekkje lydar med denne.

Young spelte med Jimmie Lunceford frå 1939 til 1942, med Count Basie i åtte år, Gerald Wilson og Lionel Hampton, og var originalt medlem av Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Big Band.[3] Han var studiotrompetist i The Tonight Show Band for NBC frå 1967 til 1992.
