«It'll Be Me» er ein song skriven av Jack Clement, først gjeven ut i april 1957 av Jerry Lee Lewis, som B-sida til singelen «Whole Lot of Shakin' Going On» (Sun 267).

Songen vart skriven av Clement og var meint som ei A-sida og oppfølgjar til den første lokale hitten til Lewis, «Crazy Arms». I følgje Clement, «Me arbeidde på ein song eg hadde skrive kalla «It'll Be Me», og eg var i kontrollrommet og byrja å bli lei heile songen, så eg gjekk ut der og sa, 'Kvifor tar ikkje dette av? Me kjem attende til han seinare, Jerry. La oss spele inn noko anna...'.» Bandmedlemmet J.W. Brown føreslo at Lewis skulle spele ein annan song som hadde gjort det bra på konsertane deira, «Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On». Då singelen kom ut vart «It'll Be Me» nytta som B-side.[1]

Ein annan, meir langsam og kortare versjon av songen frå ei seinare innspeling, kom ut i mai 1958 på det første albumet hans Jerry Lee Lewis.

Cliff Richard og The Shadows gav ut ein versjon av songen på singel i august 1962. Han nådde andreplassen på UK Singles Chart[3] og vart ein hit på topp 10 i mange andre land. I 1983 spelte Richard inn songen på nytt for 25-årsjubileumsalbumet Rock 'n' Roll Silver.

Tom Jones spelte inn to studioversjonar av songen, ein for albumet Country, den andre med Jools Holland (Tom Jones & Jools Holland album, 2004). Andre versjonar er spelte inn av Deep Purple, The Move (Something Else from The Move, 1968), Johnny Cymbal, Les Carle, Bobby Vee, Johnny Winter, Paul Rishell og Janis Martin.
