Michael Omartian
Michael Omartian (fødd 26. november 1945) er ein amerikansk songar-låtskrivar, klaverspelar og plateprodusent. Han har spelt på mange album gjennom karrieren, og som produsent har har han delteke på store hit-album i tre tiår. Han har vunne Grammyprisen fleire gonger, mellom anna for årets klaverspelar og årets produsent.

Michael har produsert album for artistar som Clint Black, Michael Bolton, Debby Boone, Steve Camp, Peter Cetera, Christopher Cross, Joe «Bean» Esposito, Amy Grant, Benny Hester, Whitney Houston, The Imperials, The Jacksons, Cliff Richard, Rod Stewart, Donna Summer og Trisha Yearwood. I 1985 produserte Michael Omartian, i lag med Quincy Jones, den store hitten «We Are the World» av ei supergruppe av popmusikarar kalla USA for Africa.[1][2]
Han var med på å starte disco-funk-bandet Rhythm Heritage, og spelte som studiomusikarar for mange artistar, som Koinonia, Steely Dan, The Four Tops, Seals and Crofts, Al Jarreau og Loggins & Messina.[3][4][5]
I 1980 vart Omartian nominert til ti Grammy-prisar for debutalbumet til Christopher Cross. Han vann til slutt tre av desse.[6]
Omartian har spelt inn fleire polerte kristne musikkalbum under sitt eige namn, som White Horse, Mainstream, Adam Again og Conversations.
