John Van Hamersveld
John Van Hamersveld (fødd i 1941) er ein USA-amerikansk biletkunstnar og illustratør, som designa plateomslag for popband og psykedeliske band sidan 1960-åra.[1][2] Blant dei 300 albuma[3] er omslaget til Magical Mystery Tour av The Beatles, Crown of Creation av Jefferson Airplane, Exile on Main Street av The Rolling Stones, og Hotter Than Hell av Kiss.[4] Hans første store oppdrag, i 1963, var å designa plakaten til surfefilmen The Endless Summer, og deretter var han designsjef for Capitol Records frå 1965 til 1968. I løpet av denne perioden jobba han med illustrasjonane til albuma til Capitol-artistar som Beatles og The Beach Boys.[5] Han var òg ansvarleg for utforminga av dei psykedeliske plakatane til utstillinga Pinnacle Shrine.[6]
